Streator Solutions

Founder, Designer & Developer | 2026 – Present

• Design and build fast, secure websites and online stores for small businesses with Astro, TypeScript and Cloudflare, including hosting, monitoring and ongoing care.
• Built a client portal and CRM: Stripe billing and invoicing, e-signed service agreements with a PDF audit trail, hourly uptime and SSL monitoring, and client support requests.
• Rebuilt a wellness clinic's homepage as a concept that scores 96 on mobile Lighthouse versus 56 for their current WordPress site, with main content loading in 2.3s instead of 22s.

Mitsubishi EDM/Laser

Full Stack Engineer | 08/2021 – Present

• Architected the company's AWS foundation in Terraform, with separate dev and prod accounts and a reusable serverless pattern (Astro on Lambda behind CloudFront, with S3, RDS or DynamoDB, SES and WAF). Used it to move the corporate website and other sites off WordPress and third-party hosting.
• Led the rewrite of the customer machine-monitoring platform into a contract-driven TypeScript monorepo (NestJS, ts-rest, Zod, Drizzle, Next.js), with a parity test suite proving the new API matches legacy behavior.
• Built an in-house replacement for a staff-scheduling SaaS subscription: coverage rules, request and approval workflows, and reporting with CSV export, running on ECS Fargate and PostgreSQL.
• Built an offline-first lead-capture kiosk for the FABTECH 2026 trade-show booth that keeps working without a connection and syncs leads to Salesforce Pardot once it's back online.
• Replaced the WordPress members site with a secure Astro and PostgreSQL app. Members kept their existing passwords, documents are shared through short-lived links, and the partner integration switched over with only a URL change.
• Develop and maintain internal operations apps (Next.js, Express, MS SQL Server, WebSockets): call-center dashboards, order tracking and digital-signage management.
• Proposed and led a SaaS API that added $100K+ in annual revenue, and saved $500K+ through separate initiatives, including the PWA below and vendor reduction.
• Proposed and built a PWA to replace the native mobile app, saving $300K+ in rebuild and maintenance costs (part of the $500K+ above) with a smooth user migration.
• Designed a multi-tenant authentication system with MFA and brute-force protection, integrated with AWS ElastiCache for secure role-based access.
• Developed a traffic logging and API rate limiting framework for performance insights, user behavior tracking and system reliability.
• Created customer-facing API documentation in Next.js (inspired by SwaggerHub) to streamline onboarding and accelerate adoption.
• Oversaw third-party penetration testing (gray box) and remediated vulnerabilities, strengthening application security.
• Worked with an IoT vendor to correct data inaccuracies, making application inputs more reliable.
• Reduced vendor reliance by managing corporate WordPress sites in-house, saving $100K+ annually. Resolved a long-standing Salesforce/Pardot/WordPress integration issue, restoring the lead capture pipeline.
• Built a SharePoint (SPFx) web part that gives staff one place to find every product line's documents.
• Deployed a secure AWS Lambda function (CDK) with SNS/SMS alerts for executives, using Secrets Manager for credentials.
• Built a PM2/Nginx/Node.js/Express.js/WebSocket microservice to display real-time Zoom event data for internal teams.
